TGIF at Faith Lutheran, Rapid City

Faith Lutheran Church in Rapid City was recently featured in the Rapid City Journal for their outreach to students of South Middle School across the street.  An event they are calling “TGIF” (Thank God! It’s Friday) drew hundreds of students to their church for free popcorn and pop.  Pastor Jeff Rohr says there is no agenda other than to show kids that they love them.  This idea for outreach came out of their process of renewal thanks to a grant from the ELCA.
