The entire South Dakota Synod Handbook is now available online. Our hope is that this will increase its usefulness as a resource within the synod and beyond. New database software we’re now using in the synod office makes updating the Handbook fairly quick and easy, and so we will be posting revisions of the Handbook on the synod website—your Handbook will be always be up-to-date!
This means the 2009 Handbook was the final paper edition of the Handbook. We hope this not only will provide a more useful and timely resource for you, but also will make us better stewards of such resources as paper, money, and time. (Of course, the synod office will be happy to print a copy of the Handbook database for anyone who needs one.)
As always, we appreciate your support and encouragement, and we prize your partnership in ministry.
For convenience, the handbook has been divided into six PDF (Portable Document Format) files. These files may be viewed online or downloaded to your computer with Adobe Reader (formerly Adobe Acrobat Reader), and they are completely searchable using Adobe Reader’s “find” command (Control-F). If you need to install or update your copy of the free Adobe Reader, you may do so via Adobe's web site.

+ 03hand10 - Conference map and alphabetical listing of congregations by conference
+ 04hand10 - Alphabetical listing of congregations by city
+ 05hand10 - Roster: Specialized Ministries; alphabetical listing of all clergy (active and retired), TEEMs and SAMs
+ 06hand10 - List of Surviving Roster Spouses
