Lenten Offering Ideas for Companion Synods

If your church is looking for ideas for mission offerings during Lent, here are a couple of ideas from Companion Synod Committee:

Nicaragua needs a new roof for the Retreat Center at the Cedro Galan location. The project cost is $23,500 which includes a water capturing feature. (See some updated pictures of the Cedro Galan Retreat Center Project on the Synod Facebook Page.)

In Cameroon, the Garoua Boulai Hospital project has received additional funds for their building project from ELCA World Hunger so is now completely funded.  If you were planning to designate funds to their needs please consider funds for the church roofs.  Our goal is to fund 25 roofs to celebrate our 25 years of companionship.  So far, funds for two roofs have already been sent!
