God is at work through the many ministries of the South Dakota Synod and beyond!

Through our Companion Synod relationships in Nicaragua and Cameroon, we are engaged in global mission.

Global Missions is the ELCA’s mission outside the United States, and serves as the channel through which churches in other countries engage in mission to our church.

Through the Multicultural Ministriesof the South Dakota Synod, we are responding to God’s call to share the reconciling gospel of Jesus Christ with all nations by partnering in ministry with the diverse ethnic communities within our state.

Campus Ministry is a ministry to young adults on campuses, both faithful to a rich theological tradition and driven by the challenges of the contemporary university.  The South Dakota Synod has campus ministries on five campuses in South Dakota.

Stewardship is one aspect of the Christian life-like worship, prayer, Bible study and service.  Tell the story of how God is at work in your congregation, the South Dakota Synod, and the ELCA.

Youth & Family Ministry is a ministry of the South Dakota Synod with  an emphasis on helping congregations train youth leaders, offering educational opportunities, networking with other youth leaders, and being a resource to the leaders who are in ministry with our youth in the South Dakota Synod.
