On February 27, 2013, www.PorticoBenefits.org becomes the online destination for Portico plan members, employers, and visitors. The previous website, www.elcabop.org, will be retired.
The new website has been designed to provide a modern user experience, enabling plan members and employers to access information, transact online, and receive timely email updates and reminders specific to their needs. While visitors can view general information, members and employers are required to register and sign in.
PorticoBenefits.org gives each group its own unique online access – myPortico for members and EmployerLink for employers.
myPortico for Plan Members
Since its introduction last fall, myPortico has offered plan members quick access to a growing collection of general and user-specific benefit information. As a member, you can now confirm the accuracy of your defined compensation (important because this figure affects your retirement, disability, and survivor benefits), make benefit elections online (flexible spending account enrollment happened online in November), and begin or change a pretax retirement contribution. More opportunities are expected in the coming months.
EmployerLink for Employers
On EmployerLink, you can now update your employee compensation and pay your bills online. Thousands of employers are now taking advantage of these opportunities, with new features expected in the coming months.
Employers are encouraged to have more than one representative registered on EmployerLink – ideally one who pays the bill and another benefit-related decision-maker. As Portico shares health benefit changes related to health care reform, make sure your organization has the right people registered and receiving updates via EmployerLink.
